Collecting and sharing faith-filled wisdom from the old for the edification of the young
“Thus says the Lord:
Stand at the crossroads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way lies; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.”
Jeremiah 6:16

About Eternal Echoes
Eternal Echoes is a ministry dedicated to collecting and sharing faith-filled wisdom from the older generation of Christians for the edification of the young.
Inspired by the Biblical command to “stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies” (Jeremiah 6:16), Eternal Echoes interviews older Christians for wisdom and lessons learned on their walk of faith, with the hope of pointing younger generations to the goodness and faithfulness of God.
Respecting and Honoring Our Elders
Our culture seems to have a general disregard for the past – including people from older generations. But God not only cares about older people as He does all of us, He has instructed the younger generation to turn to them for godly wisdom, advice and instruction. He has also commanded them to pass on their faith and testimony to us.
We live in a society that has a general disregard for the past and all things old or traditional – including the elderly. But God not only cares about older people, values them, and calls us into a relationship with them, He has instructed us – the younger generation – to turn to them for godly wisdom and advice. He has also instructed them to pass on their faith and testimony to us.We live in a society that has a general disregard for the past and all things old or traditional – including the elderly. About the Founder
Katharine Rose
Hello and welcome! My name is Katharine and I’m a writer, contemplator, and seeker of wisdom and truth. I’ve always had a heart for older people and believe there is immense value in pursuing meaningful, faith-filled friendships across generations.
I created Eternal Echoes because I believe that God is calling on us in this hour not only to seek the wisdom of the older generation of Christians, but to return to the Biblical mandate to respect and honor our elders (Leviticus 19:32).
The name “Eternal Echoes” was inspired by Psalm 119:89-90: “Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations.” My prayer is that there would be an eternal echo of God’s goodness and faithfulness from one generation to the next.
