Mission & Vision
Eternal Echoes is a ministry dedicated to collecting and sharing faith-filled wisdom from an older generation of born-again Christians for the edification of younger generations.
Our vision is to ignite a legacy of faith across generations by honoring, amplifying and preserving the spiritual wisdom of these older Christians through storytelling, mentoring and intergenerational engagement with the goal of inspiring and preparing those who are younger with foundational Christian values like integrity, personal discipline and moral clarity in discerning right from wrong.
Core Values
Our core values begin with respect for the wisdom and life experiences of seniors and promoting what has been largely lost in our current American society – God’s design for intergenerational discipleship.
The Need
Across college campuses and churches, the younger generation – particularly Gen Z – is turning to God and hungering after His truth and presence.
Today’s older generation of Christians have a unique opportunity to influence and shape the faith of rising generations by remembering and proclaiming the “mighty deeds of the Lord, His might, and the wonders He has done” in their own lives (Psalm 78:4).
Collecting and sharing faith-filled wisdom from the old for the edification of the young
“Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:32
“I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone. O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.” Psalm 71:16-18
What the World Says vs. What God Says
While our world tends to devalue older people, God says: “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.” (Proverbs 16:31)
While our world tends to overlook older people, God says: “Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.” (Leviticus 19:32)
While our world says older people have little to offer, God says: “Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?” (Job 12:12)
While the world says older people lack purpose, God says: “But take care and watch yourselves closely, so as neither to forget the things that your eyes have seen nor to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children’s children…” (Deuteronomy 4:9-10)

The Pillars of Eternal Echoes
The older generation is valuable, worthy of respect, and important to society
“Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:32
“Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.” Proverbs 16:31
“The glory of young men is their strength, but the splendor of old men is their gray hair.” Proverbs 20:29
“Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?” Job 12:12
“Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, in all purity.”
1 Timothy 5:1
“It is better to heed the rebuke of a wise person than to listen to the song of fools.” Ecclesiastes 7:5
The older generation has a responsibility to pass on their faith and wisdom
“Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their children; we will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.” Psalm 78:1-4
“But take care and watch yourselves closely, so as neither to forget the things that your eyes have seen nor to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children’s children…” Deuteronomy 4:9-11
“Hear this, O elders; give ear, all inhabitants of the land! Has such a thing happened in your days or in the days of your ancestors? Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.” Joel 1:2-3
The younger generation is called to seek the wisdom of the older generation
“Thus says the Lord: Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16
“For inquire now of former generations, and consider what their ancestors have found; for we are but of yesterday, and we know nothing, for our days on earth are but a shadow. Will they not teach you and tell you and utter words out of their understanding?” Job 8:8-10
“Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you.” Deuteronomy 32:7
“Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created human beings on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other: has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of?” Deuteronomy 4:32
“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future.” Proverbs 19:20
