About Katharine Rose

Hello and welcome!

I’m so happy you found your way here! My name is Katharine and I’m first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ. I’m also a writer, contemplator, and seeker of wisdom and truth. I’ve always had a heart for older people and believe there is immense value in pursuing meaningful, faith-filled friendships across generations.

I created Eternal Echoes because I believe that God is calling on us in this hour not only to seek the wisdom of the older generation of Christians, but to return to the Biblical mandate to respect and honor our elders (Leviticus 19:32).

The name “Eternal Echoes” was inspired by Psalm 119:89-90: “Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations.” My prayer is that there would be an eternal echo of God’s goodness and faithfulness from one generation to the next.

More About Me

Originally from New Hampshire, I went to college in Massachusetts, lived and worked in New York City (my childhood dream!), and studied briefly at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland (a fairytale!) before landing in the South Carolina Lowcountry (paradise!), where I’ve been living for nearly seven years.

I’m the proud aunt of four nieces and two nephews, lover of books, travel and all things chocolate, and am passionate about pointing others to their true identity as beloved children of God. I’m also an advocate for carrying traditional morals and values into our modern world.

I love writing and have been published in a variety of publications, including OnBeing, The Huffington Post, Thrive Global, Kingdom Edge Magazine, and Southern Cross Magazine, among others. My professional portfolio can be found here.

When I’m not writing, I’m reading, working out, or fellowshipping with others over coffee.

Thank you for taking the time to visit. If you’d like to leave a note, have a speaking or podcast request, or know someone who would be good to interview on the Eternal Echoes podcast, please feel free to contact me. I’d love to hear from you!
